The National Monuments Service's description
On a prominent rise in pastureland, overlooking Lough Kinlea to W. Very poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. c. 25m) defined by traces of the outer face of a drystone wall from SE to SW and from NW to NE; elsewhere a scarp forms the enclosing element. The monument is obscured by field-clearance rubble from W to NW and a field wall cuts it at NW and SW. (McCaffrey 1952, 227, no. 86)
