The National Monuments Service's description
On the NW slope of a possible cairn (GA103-118011-), c. 165m to the ESE of the monastic complex at Drumacoo. The base and two pieces of the shaft of this cross survive. The base is square in plan (L/Wth 0.5m; H c. 0.4m) and is located in the W corner of an almost square setting (L/Wth c. 2.45m) of large stone blocks, a possible associated leacht (GA103-118013-). It consists of two horizontal slabs set one on top of the other; the edges of the upper slab are chamfered. One fragment of the shaft (H 0.5m) is slotted into the base and the other (L 0.55m) is lying on the ground to the NE. The shaft fragments are octagonal in section (diam 0.2m) and indicate that the cross that was at least 1.5m in height. (Killanin 1951, 119)
