The National Monuments Service's description

Associated with a cashel (GA103-088001-). Named 'Cave' on the 1838 and 'Cave (Site of)' on the 1933 editions of the OS 6-inch maps. On the latter map it is shown at the E sector of the cashel. No visible surface trace survives.
