The National Monuments Service's description

Within the rath (GA102-038----). According to Holt (1912, 227) there was another mound to the W of the mound of earth and stone which is visible in the interior. It apparently masked the entrance to a souterrain. No visible surface trace of it survives and no trace of the souterrain was noted.
