In level grassland. Poorly preserved subcircular cashel (c. 90m NW-SE) defined by two drystone walls c. 20m apart at S. The inner wall survives from N to NE and from E to S, while the outer wall is visible from E through S to N. A farmhouse and associated outhouses have been constructed between the two walls and on the line of the inner wall at E. McCaffrey (1952, 173, no. 4a) noted the existence of a ‘souterrain [GA102-005001-] in the haggard of the farmhouse’; no visible surface trace of it survives. An enclosure (GA102-005002-) lies c. 7m to the SSW. (Holt 1912, 231)
