The National Monuments Service's description

In low-lying reclaimed pastureland overlooking bogland to the N. This possible fulacht fia, which was defined by a low mound of blackened earth and burnt stone, was levelled during field clearance. It was known locally as a ‘fairy fort’ (information from C. Cunniffe). No visible surface trace survives.
