The National Monuments Service's description

In level pastureland. This poorly preserved rectangular moated site (50m N-S; 47m E-W) is defined by two earth and stone banks and an intervening fosse. Traces of stone revetment are visible on both banks. The substantial inner bank (Wth 5-7.1m; int. H 0.55-1.1m; ext. H 0.7-1.5m) is delimited by trees all round. The fosse (Wth 2.8-3.4m) is best preserved along the N and S sides; it is overgrown along the E side and is less definable along the W side. The outer bank (Wth 1.7-4.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.2m) is overgown with hawthorn bushes. A causewayed entrance gap (Wth 6m) at E may be original. Within the interior, abutting the inner bank at SW and W, are two adjoining walls which may enclose a rectangular structure (L 19.8m; Wth 13.5m). At N a scarp-like linear feature runs S from the inner bank for 8m, then E for 7m and then S for 17.5m.
