The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in gently undulating pastureland. Very poorly preserved almost circular rath (48.5m N-S; 47.5m E-W) defined by a steep scarp (H 0.9-3.2m) from S through W to NW. The scarp decreases in height towards N and from N to NE only a faint rise indicates its outline. From NE to SE it increases in height again. A NE-SW running field bank cuts across the monument at NE and W. A post and wire fence extends from this and cuts the enclosing element at SW. Several mature trees are growing along the perimeter at W. Another rath (GA100-010----) is visible c. 240m to the N.
