The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pastureland. A hachured feature marked on the 1946 revision of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection in 1985 to be a series of disused quarry pits. As it is of post-AD 1700 date it does not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
