The National Monuments Service's description

In 1991 human remains were discovered while digging a trench for an electrical cable at a dwelling house in the townland of Ardranny More, near Kiltormer, Co. Galway. The find was reported to the local GardaĆ but the remains were not removed, nor was the site reported to the NMI. In 1994, the landowner reported the discovery of the skeletons to Professor Etienne Rynne and described them as being aligned north-south, arranged 'head to toe'. No structural stones were found in the vicinity of the burials, nor were there any associated artefacts. Professor Rynne reported the find to the NMI, who contacted the finder. The site was not investigated (pers comm. M. Sikora and M. Cahill, NMI).
