The National Monuments Service's description

In flat farmland, c. 50m N of Cartron House. A circular enclosure (D c. 45m) defined by a tree-lined earthen bank; known locally as 'a fort'. According to local information, there was 'an old house' within the interior, of which no visible surface trace survives.
