The National Monuments Service's description

In undulating grassland. Marked on the OS 6-inch maps as a roughly D-shaped enclosure (c. 37m NW-SE) with a straight N side (L 32m); on the 1933 edition it is cut at NNW and SSW by a N-S running field boundary. On inspection in April 1984 no visible surface trace survived. However, its outline is clearly visible on the OSi digitalglobe aerial photograph. The siting and cartographic evidence suggest that this was a rath.
