The National Monuments Service's description

Within the NW quadrant of a rath (GA098-065----). This drystone-built souterrain (L 1.8m; Wth 1.5m) runs ENE-WSW. Access is gained via a modern breach at its WSW end. A linear depression (L 4.3m Wth 1.4m) suggests that it extended further from its ENE end. A children’s burial ground (GA098-065001-) lies c. 5m to the SE. (O’Flanagan 1927, Vol. 1, 499)
