The National Monuments Service's description
Within the ‘Rath of Feewore’ (GA097-150001-). During the course of an excavation carried out by Knox (1915-16, 192) a small crude cist was found in a cutting through the W side of the bank. It appears that it was lay below the level of the bank. The cist was defined by two thin stones on each side, one at each end and three on the top. Fragmentary traces of cremated bone were found within it. (Waddell 1975, 10-11)
