The National Monuments Service's description

In level grassland. Marked the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure and on the 1933 edition as a rectangular enclosure. It consists of an oval cashel (45m NW-SE; c. 30m NE-SW), in fair condition, defined by a collapsed drystone wall. A gap (Wth 9m) at NE may be original. No visible surface trace survives of the entrance at S or the fosse and outer bank noted by McCaffrey (1952, 170, no. 13). There is a children’s burial ground (GA097-141----) in the W half of the interior.
