The National Monuments Service's description

In gently rolling grassland. A poorly preserved oval rath (c. 45m NW-SE; c. 30m NE-SW) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The inner bank, which is overlain by a field wall, is visible from NW to SE; a scarp forms the enclosing element from SE to SW. The fosse and
outer bank survive from NW to SE. A laneway cuts through the monument from NW to SW and no visible surface trace survives to the W of it. (McCaffrey 1952, 169, no. 14)
