The National Monuments Service's description
In woodland. Roughly circular cashel (diam. 35m), in fair condition, defined by a grassed-over
drystone wall. A silage pit has been constructed along it at S. A souterrain (GA097-063001-) lies in the N sector of the interior, which is subdivided by a number of banks and grassed-over walls. Traces of some possible house sites are also evident. However, no clear visible surface trace survives of the rectangular building marked in the SW quadrant on the 1838 edition of the OS map 6-inch map. A small rectangular house site lies c. 3m outside the enclosing wall at E. A rath (GA097-064----) lies c. 140m to the SW.
