The National Monuments Service's description
Associated with a motte and bailey (GA096-144----). Orpen (1916, 39) recorded that 'In the N.W. angle of the bailey, a ring seems to mark the site of a tower, or small circular building [GA096-14001-], while there are traces of an enclosure [GA096-144002-], 12 ft. by 12 ft. [3.6m by 3.6m] close by.' No visible surface trace of these features survives.
