The National Monuments Service's description

In pastureland, within the S half of an associated graveyard (GA096-125001-). This rectangular church (11.9m E-W; 5.4m N-S), in fair condition, is constructed of mortared limestone; it is heavily overgrown with ivy. Access is gained through a pointed arch doorway in the S wall. A trefoil-headed window is visible to its W and further to its E there is the ope of a destroyed window. The remains of a rectangular window survive in the E gable. Part of what appears to be the original altar survives below it and there is a small wall cupboard at the S end of the wall. Another small trefoil-headed window is visible high up in the W gable. The N wall is featureless. The interior of the church is overgrown with nettles and a number of graves are visible. On inspection in the early 1940s slight projections of the side-walls were recorded extending westwards from the W gable (SMR file). These were not noted on inspection in June 1983. (O'Flanagan 1927a, Vol. 1, 450-51)
