The National Monuments Service's description

On low-lying pastureland subject to flooding at the S edge of a small wooded area, c. 15m to the W of a stream. This low horseshoe-shaped mound (7m N-S; 3m E-W; H 0.6m), opening towards the E, is composed of grassed-over burnt stone and black soil (Cody 1989, 158, no. 14). Several large boulders along the NE side may be natural rock outcrop. A second fulacht fia (GA096-055----) lies c. 80m to the SSW.
