The National Monuments Service's description
In low-lying marshy pastureland. This subrectangular moated site (36m NW-SE; 34.5m NE-SW), in fair condition, is defined by two overgrown banks and an intervening fosse. A NW-SE flowing stream runs through the fosse on the NE side. The interior is level but at N a slightly raised area (21m NW-SE; 11m NE-SW) is delimited by two stretches of a two low earthen bank. Two possible fulachta fia (GA096-016002- and GA096-017----) lie c. 40m to the NE and c. 95m to the SE respectively. (Cody 1989, 322-4, no. 142)
