The National Monuments Service's description
On a SE-facing slope in undulating grassland. Described by McCaffrey (1952, 142, no. 10) as a
rath defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. No visible surface trace of the outer bank survives. The inner bank is visible throughout and is defined by a bank of earth and stone (diam. 47m). Traces of internal stone-facing are visible at S. The fosse survives from SSE through S to WNW. There is a souterrain (GA095-125001-) in the NW quadrant of the interior. (Athy 1914, 133)
