The National Monuments Service's description

In grassland overlooking marshy land to the S. This poorly preserved circular rath (diam. c. 27m) is defined by two banks of earth and stone and an intervening fosse, which are heavily overgrown with bushes. Gaps at NE and NW appear to be modern. A field wall overlies the outer bank. A possible children's burial ground (GA095-085001-) lies within the interior. (Athy 1914, 135; McCaffrey 1952, 136, no. 47)
