In woodland. Redington (1911-12, 182-3) recorded 'two rude boulders', one 'at 10 yards [c. 3m], and the other about 40 yards [c. 12m]' to the NW of the church (GA095-060----). In each there was there was an artificially cut basin-like depression. The first was a roughly spherical boulder, part of which had been flaked off. The basin, which was '2ft. 3in. [c. 0.7m] by 2ft. [c. 0.6m] and 4in. [c. 0.12m] deep', was roughly square shaped with rounded corners. The second one was '6ft. 9in. [c. 2.1m] long by 2ft. 3in. [c. 0.7m] broad'. Its basin was rectangular '3ft. [c. 0.9m] by 1ft. 4in. [c. 0.4m] and 6in. [c. 0.15m] deep'. Another similar boulder (GA095-073----) stood '60 yards S. of the house of Kilcornan'. Redington (ibid.) was unaware for what purpose the stones were so cut but it had been suggested to her that they were in 'the process of being made into troughs'. Not located.
