The National Monuments Service's description
Holt (244) recorded a 'small tablet' on the ground close to the N wall of the medieval church (GA095-051----). A packing of stones around it suggested it had been intentionally fixed in that place. The slab bore the following inscription:
IH S
PRAYERFORT
HESOULOFVN
YKENNYWH
ODEYEDTHE14
OFFEB 1687
