In the centre of an ecclesiastical enclosure (GA095-029001-). This very poorly preserved medieval church (int. dims. 12m E-W; 5.8m N-S; wall T 0.6m) is much obscured by ivy. The W gable and N side-wall are intact and a plinth is visible at the base of both walls. Only short lengths of S side-wall (L 2m) and E gable (L 0.6m) survive. The church is constructed of very large thin limestone flags and a mortared rubble core. The only visible architectural features are three corbels: two projecting from the internal face of the W gable and the third one from the SW corner. They indicate the former presence of a loft at this end of the church. The W end of interior of the church is artificially raised by collapsed stone and the E end is densely overgrown with thorn and briar growth. One graveslab within it is dated 1840. A table-tomb, possibly of 19th-century date, has been built on the line of the S side-wall. (Westropp 1919, 180-81; O'Flanagan 1927, Vol. 1, 419)
