The National Monuments Service's description
According to local tradition, there is a souterrain (GA095-009001-) in the interior of rath (GA095-009----), immediately to the SW of the entrance. No visible surface trace of it survives nor was any trace found in the course of the excavations undertaken in the SE quadrant and entrance area in 1948-9. The location indicated by the ITM coordinates for this record must only be considered as approximate. (Comber 2002)
