The National Monuments Service's description

In recently cleared scrubland. Poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 56m) defined by a collapsed drystone wall. A children's burial ground (GA095-005001-) lies within the interior. (Holt 1912, 236; O'Flanagan 1927, Vol. 1, 300; McCaffrey 1952, 125-6, no. 27)
