The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland. Holt (1912, 228) recorded that immediately to the E of the rath (GA094-013----) 'beyond a field wall, are the foundations of a small hut [GA094-013002-] and yard, below which, as revealed by two apertures is a 'souterrain' (GA094-013001-). McCaffrey (1952, 122, no. 39) could not find the 'hut' or 'souterrain', and local people informed him that the latter had been closed up. Not located.
