The National Monuments Service's description
In former demesne land on W outskirts of Ballinasloe town. In existence in 1574 when it was in the possession of 'Mahe McTully' (Nolan, 1901b, 110). No visible surface trace survives: a 19th-C ornamental spire now marks the site (Egan 1960, 68).
