The National Monuments Service's description
Two hachured features marked on the 1947-8 revision of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection in 1985 to be disused and overgrown quarries. As they are of post-AD 1700 date they do not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
