The National Monuments Service's description
On a rise in grassland. This heavily overgrown subcircular rath (50m N-S; 37m E-W), in fair condition, is defined by an inner scarp (H 1.8m max.), intervening fosse (Wth 2.5-3m) and outer bank (Wth 3m; int. H 1.3m; ext. H 0.5m). From NE to SSE a field bank overlies the outer bank. A holy well (GA085-059----) lies c. 20m to the NE.
