The National Monuments Service's description
Within the S half of a field system (GA082-097001-). Aerial reconnaissance by Markus Casey revealed this very poorly preserved subcircular cashel (54.6m N-S; 45.5m E-W) which is defined by a grassed-over bank of stone from S through W to NE; elsewhere a rocky scarp forms the enclosing element. There is a possibly a house site (GA082-097005-) the W sector of the interior. Running eastwards from this is a low grassed-over bank (L c. 30m) that appears to be an internal division. A concrete rainwater tank and trough have been built into the enclosing element at NE. Another house site (GA082-097004-) lies c. 26m to the N and there is an enclosure (GA082-097003-) c. 100m to the N.
