The National Monuments Service's description
Across the River Corrib in the vicinity of Jordan's Island. The discovery of a number of stray finds from this section of the river, including prehistoric artifacts, La Tène and 16th-C swords, suggests the existence of a crossing point here, as do the presence of the castles on opposite banks (GA094-040----, GA082-080001-). No visible surface traces survive. (Rynne 1984, 23, 25)
