The National Monuments Service's description

Embedded in the ground at the SW corner of a leacht (GA076-011005-). This granite bullaun is subrectangular in plan (dims. 0.48m E-W; 0.36m N-S; H 0.18m). Its basin (dims. 0.3m E-W; 0.18m N-S; max. D 0.17m) is roughly oval in shape with a narrow channel leading off it at NW. When visited in August 1984 an almost circular lid (0.38m N-S; 0.35m E-W), tapering from S (T 0.1m) to N (T 0.2-0.3m) with a smooth base, was noted standing upright at the NE end of the bullaun stone. When revisited in April 2014 the lid was on top of the bullaun, covering the basin.
