The National Monuments Service's description
In gently undulating grassland, c. 30m SSW of the Bunowen River. A poorly preserved subcircular rath (E-W 45m, N-S 40m) defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank survives from NE through E to SE. There is an entrance causeway (Wth 6m) at SE. A field boundary overlies the inner bank at S. Quarrying has encroached upon the rath at SW and ENE. Within the interior is a graveyard (GA074-017001-) Killure Castle (GA074-070----) is visible c. 250m to SE.
