The National Monuments Service's description

Centrally located on the tree-covered crannóg (GA073-032----) in Callow Lough. Described by Curley (2021, 29) as a subrectangular stone structure (ext. dims. 5.8m E-W; 4.7m N-S; av. H 1.3m) built of unmortared stone (av. wall Wth 0.88m). A gap (Wth 0.5m) at SW provides access. The structure may have been originally roofed and was possibly a house.
