The National Monuments Service's description
This togher was located 16m north of KDY056 in a small cluster of sites in proximity to the southern limit of the central portion of Killaderry Bog. It was orientated east/west towards a natural ridge in the bog that extended from east to west. This ridge was possibly utilised to traverse the bog before the peat encroached it. The togher was visible in the drain face at eight sightings, 0.84m to 1.20m below the field surface and. It was composed of longitudinally laid roundwood and planks underlain, in places, by transverse roundwood.
