The National Monuments Service's description
In undulating pastureland. Two hachured features marked on either side of the townland boundary on the 1932 edition of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection in 1983 to be disused gravel pits. As they are of post-AD 1700 date they do not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
