The National Monuments Service's description

In gently undulating pastureland; formerly demesne land. One of 14 similar features marked on the OS 6-inch maps (see also GA059-064001- to GA059-064013-). This example is shown on the OS 1:2500 plan (surveyed 1912-16) as a roughly oval enclosure (c. 30m NNE-SSW; c. 25m E-W) that is defined by a solid line and planted with trees. Field banks, running roughly E-W, abut it at NE and WNW. A pathway running to the N of the field banks skirts around its N section. The enclosing element, an earthen bank (Wth 1m; H c. 1.4m), only survives from WNW to NE. Trees and bushes are growing around its perimeter. South of the bank the trees have been cleared and a hollow marks the site.
