The National Monuments Service's description

On flat scrubland, c. 50m SSW of a plantation bawn (GA057-067001-). A circular enclosure (D c. 35m) noted during aerial reconnaissance in 1968 (CUCAP AVN 2) and again in 1983 (ASGAP 28:30-2, 36, 42). The photographs indicate that it is defined by a collapsed wall. In the interior, a number of subdivisions and the foundations of a possible house are visible. Not visited.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
