The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on top of a low rise in undulating pastureland. This large tapering slightly rounded limestone slab (H 1.85m; base Wth c. 1.35m; Wth at top 0.85m; T 0.5m) is aligned N-S. A number of small packing stones are visible around its base, particularly on its W side.
