The National Monuments Service's description

In low-lying undulating grassland. Described in 1954 (Topgr. Files, NMI): 'Stone ringfort single rampart. No sign of fosse. Oval, approximately [?]ft. N-S, 120ft [36.5m] E-W ... muchruined and heavily overgrown'. Duignan (Topgr. Files, UCG) also suggested that it may have contained apossible souterrain as it was known locally as the 'lairof a fox'. The monument was subsequently bulldozedin the 1950s and no visible surface trace survives.
