The National Monuments Service's description

Immediately to the S of the roadway. This graveyard (c. 90m NW-SE; c. 54m NE-SW), subtriangular in plan, is delimited by a wall of mortared uncut limestone blocks topped with coping stones. Access is gained through the original gateway at NNW and a more recent gateway at ESE; there is a stile to the N of the latter entrance. The remains of a medieval church (GA056-055001-) stand roughly in the centre of the interior. Graveslabs and table tombs date from the 18th century; 19th- and 20th-century graveslabs are also visible as well as numbers uninscribed grave-markers. The earliest recorded graveslab dates to the 17th century and it is now set into the external face of the graveyard wall, to the W of the original gateway - see GA056-055004-. Another graveslab is set into the wall to the S of the gateway but its inscription is illegible.
