The National Monuments Service's description
In gently undulating scrub and cragland, now partially cleared for grassland. When surveyed in 1979 (SMR file) 'at least three house sites' were noted within this notable complex of monuments that covers an area of 0.5km sq. and which included a large field system (GA056-024008-) and five cashels (GA056-024001-, GA056-024004-, GA056-024005-, GA056-024007-, GA056-024009-). One of the houses (see GA056-024006-) may be that which lies immediately to the E of the cashel (GA056-024004-); the precise location of the other two (GA056-024002-) is unknown. (ASGAP 167:81)
