The National Monuments Service's description

On SW slope of a valley running NW from Loch Shéamaisín Uí Niaidh. It consists of a small natural spring under some hawthorn bushes. Beside it is a flat stone with many small depressions, regarded as the footprints of a child, a lamb and other animals (info. T. Robinson). Not visited.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'. Compiled by Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993).
