The National Monuments Service's description
In pastureland. Two hachured features, c. 15m apart, marked on the 1930 edition of the OS 6-inch map proved on inspection in 1984 to be most likely infilled sand or gravel pits. Darker vegetation and nettles marked their locations. As they are of post-AD 1700 date they do not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
