The National Monuments Service's description

On a gently N-facing slope overlooking boggy land; within an irregularly shaped modern graveyard. All that survives of the church is an ivy-covered wall (E-W; L 4.1m, H 3.5m). No architectural features are visible. According to local information, there was formerly a chimney in the wall. This is referred to in OS Letters (O'Flanagan 1927, Vol. 1, 238) where it is noted that 'In Killosolan church yard there stands the gable of some edifice, with a chimney on it'.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'. Compiled by Olive Alcock, Kathy de hÓra and Paul Gosling (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
