The National Monuments Service's description
On an ridge summit in grassland overlooking bogland to N. Circular rath (D 44m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. Both banks are present from E through S to W; elsewhere a scarp forms the inner enclosing element. Causewayed entrance at NNW.
