The National Monuments Service's description
In gently undulating pastureland. Marked on the 1932 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a roughly rectangular quarry. On inspection in 1985 it was found to have been infilled. As it is of post-AD 1700 date it does not come within the remit of the Archaeological Survey of Ireland.
